Chawnews (Iranian Kurdistan Human Rights Center) stated: A 17-year-old citizen from Oshnavieh named “Ehsan Mohammadi”, son of Ibrahim, who was arrested by intelligence agents of the Oshnavieh Revolutionary Guards during the nationwide uprising in early October, is still in Urmia prison.
An informed source told ChawNews: 17-year-old Ehsan Mohammadi was arrested by IRGC intelligence forces in early October, and after a few days, he was transferred to one of the detention centers of this security agency in Urmia. During his detention, this teenager was subjected to the most severe physical, mental and psychological tortures, and they tried many times to get a forced confession from him.
This source added: After 5 months of detention and torture and several hearings at the Revolutionary Court, Ehsan Mohammadi was transferred to Urmia Central Prison, and now after more than 7 months, he is in complete limbo.
This young citizen has been denied the right to choose a lawyer and visit in person and is in critical condition due to the severity of physical and mental torture.
