Three citizens from Oshnavieh, identified as “Yasser Sharifian” son of Omar, “Rashid Faghihzadeh” son of Vahed, and “Omid Ebrahimi” son of Ghader, have been collectively sentenced to ten years of discretionary imprisonment by the General and Revolutionary Court of Oshnavieh County.

An informed source told Chawnews in this regard: Omid Ebrahimi was sentenced to five years of discretionary imprisonment on charges of “acting against national security, propaganda against the system, and cooperation with Kurdish opposition parties”; Yasser Sharifian was sentenced to four years of discretionary imprisonment on charges of “propaganda and acting against the system, possession of a Tepar weapon, and cooperation with Kurdish opposition parties”; and Rashid Faghihzadeh was sentenced to one year of discretionary imprisonment on charges of “disturbing public opinion and propaganda against the system.”

These three citizens, who had previously been summoned and interrogated multiple times, were simultaneously arrested by intelligence forces without a judicial warrant on the morning of Wednesday, May 6th of this year.
