On Wednesday morning, September 24, 2025, the execution sentences of two citizens named “Farshad Garavand” and “Ahmadreza Garavand,” from Kuhdasht, were carried out in Qezel Hesar Prison in Karaj.

These two prisoners had been arrested about seven years ago on charges related to “drug offenses” and were subsequently sentenced to death.

These two prisoners had been transferred to solitary confinement in Qezel Hesar Prison on Tuesday, September 23, for the execution of their sentences.

Also, on Sunday, September 21, the execution sentences of two prisoners named “Hadi Norouzi” and “Kazem Jamehshorani,” from Kermanshah, were carried out in the central prison of that city (Dizel Abad).

Kazem Jamehshorani, 27, and Hadi Norouzi, 28, had been arrested approximately 17 months and 5 years ago, respectively, on charges of “intentional murder” and sentenced to death.
